Hello fellow writers! I’m Tiera Rice, author and creator of TieraWrites.com
A soon-to-be 29 year old, I am a mom of a beautiful little girl, with a baby boy on the way, and the fiancée of a wonderful, supportive man.
Although I earned my BA in criminal justice from Temple University, I’m currently a Realtor in NY and NJ. I know, I know; how did I end up in real estate when my field of study was criminal justice? It’s simple, really: being my mother’s company–I already knew the ropes and had a position, if I wanted.
I am outgoing, silly, and imaginative, with a love of all things weird and “out there”. I consider myself a Jill of *most* trades, yet master of none, and I especially enjoy all things art.
Interesting Facts About Me:
- I’ve sung at Carnegie Hall with my high school choir
- My fiancé and I met at an Anti-Valentine’s Day Vampire Ball
- I’ve self-published a novel
- I have a few pen names that I write by
- I have 21 (and a half) tattoos
- I’m a cancer survivor
- I served 4 years in the Army
My number one passion is writing and has been for as long as I can remember. I still have an array of stories and poems, dating back to when I was 6, or so, years old. One of my goals are to take these old stories, finally complete them, and turn them into children’s books. Perhaps you can help me stay on track with this goal!
So, what’s the point of TieraWrites.com??
I’ve come across blogging several times throughout the years, always researching further, but never following through. I’ve finally reached a point in my life where I’m choosing to not let fear control me, and I’m taking back the reins!
TieraWrites.com is my new creative outlet that allows me to express myself, and provide you, my fellow writers, with awesome tips and advice from my journeys. Throughout my years as a writer and published author, I’ve learned and experienced a lot, and I want to share this knowledge with you! Let me help you become a better writer!
Thank you for visiting my blog! Questions and comments are always welcome. Please check out my main site and feel free to connect with me–I’d love to hear your story and help in any way I can!
