    Journaling for Mental Health

    While growing up, you may have kept a diary as your confidant to confess your fears and struggles to. For me, it would feel good to get out all of my thoughts and, sometimes confusing, emotions without feeling judged. Whether it was about relationships, insecurities, moving, discrimination, what have you, it was refreshing to put my feelings on paper and reflect back on it. For a good portion of my life, I have lived with anxiety. Although, when I reached my 20’s, it evolved into challenging bouts of depression.
